Happy Sunday! I want to start a series of book recommendations of “if you liked Book A, then you should read Book B.” Book A will always be either a classic novel or a very popular novel!
Let’s hop into the first one.
The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle is legendary–with multiple TV and film adaptations and many retellings. Everyone is attracted to Sherlock’s blunt manner and exquisitely genius mind.

If you like The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle…

Then you should read Confessions of a Murder Suspect by James Patterson and Maxine Paetro. This book is the first in a series, but each can be read as a standalone, for I unknowingly read the second book of the series without even realizing it!
This story follows the daughter of a wealthy family who is suspected, along with her three siblings, of murdering her parents. The entire family is filled with prodigies of some sort, but the main character is known for her immense intelligence.
If you liked reading about Holmes, there’s a good chance you’ll like this family.
Happy reading!
